OpenAI API Development & Consulting
Frontier models, chosen on the merits.
OpenAI builds GPT and its frontier models. We use them where they’re the right answer — provider-agnostic by design, never tied to a single model.
In production inside client platforms, including the Ontos Admissions college counselor and the PARC Innovations training platform.
OpenAI builds the GPT family of frontier models: strong general reasoning, mature API and agent tooling, image and audio models, and a developer ecosystem most enterprise platforms already touch somewhere. We build with them where they fit the engagement, judged on capability, cost, latency and the governance the context requires. The intelligence we ship for clients is provider-agnostic by design, and the architecture lets the model change without the platform having to.

From Hack Days to Innovation Labs: Putting AI Models to the Test
How the Partnership Works
GPT frontier models, the API and assistants tooling, image and audio models, and a mature developer ecosystem.
Applied AI engineering, model selection judgment across providers, retrieval and agent architecture, and the human-in-the-loop governance that keeps deployed AI accountable.
AI built into client platforms without lock-in: the right model for the job, swapped as models improve. This is the Intelligence work — make the work faster for the team, and make the platform smarter for the people it serves.
Partnership in practice
Our OpenAI work is the client-facing half of the Intelligence practice. The AI college counselor for Ontos Admissions Insight draws out a student’s own words, with guardrails that keep the AI from writing for them; the PARC Innovations training platform proves clinicians learned what they trained on. Both are built with OpenAI models.
The discipline is choosing on the merits. Capability, cost, latency and the governance the context requires all weigh in, and GPT models win that comparison often: the general reasoning is strong, the tooling is mature and the ecosystem is broad. The client’s platform stays free to move — the architecture lets the model change without the platform having to.
