The Oncology Nursing Society’s platform has won a Silver Digital Health Award for Web-based Digital Health in the Spring 2025 session.
It is the second award for the platform in the same season, after a Gold in the DANDA Awards.
What the Platform Does
Three websites became one. An oncology nurse looking something up is usually mid-shift and rarely has a minute to spare, so the measure of the platform is not how much it holds but how fast it gives back the one thing being looked for.
That put the weight on two things: content organized by the question being asked rather than by the department that owns it, and a search built to answer. The case study covers how the content model was built.
About the Award
The Digital Health Awards are run by the Health Information Resource Center and judge digital health resources across web, mobile, wearable and connected categories. The competition runs spring and fall sessions.
