Taylor Box has been making custom rigid boxes in Warren, Rhode Island since the nineteenth century — the presentation packaging that luxury goods, jewelry and medical devices arrive in.
It is a business where the product cannot be described adequately in words. A buyer choosing a manufacturer is assessing finish, structure, the crispness of a wrapped edge, how a lid sits — qualities that are obvious in the hand and invisible in a specification. Nearly every prospective customer forms their judgment from photographs before any sample is ever sent.
