The National Environmental Education Foundation’s platform has won three Silver Davey Awards: General Education, General Non-Profit and Features Website Redesign.
About the Work
NEEF is the national non-profit chartered by Congress to expand environmental literacy in the United States. Its platform delivers programming for two audiences that rarely want the same page — educators looking for classroom material they can use on Monday, and partner organizations looking for evidence a program works.
The redesign separated those journeys without duplicating the content underneath them, which is the part that keeps a small non-profit’s editorial team from drowning as the site grows.
About the Award
The Davey Awards honor creative work from small agencies, judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts. The premise is that the best work from a small shop is not a scaled-down version of the best work from a large one, so the categories are judged among peers of comparable size.
